Wanting to create special outfits for her daughter Alberte, Majken, originally a qualified architect, found herself buying a sewing machine at the local supermarket. In her own living room she started a small production - first crawlers then dresses.
Soon after she became pregnant with twins. Now a mother of 3 small girls, would this spell the end of her small home production? The sewing machine was put away, but only for a little while. The demand for Majkens' unique and handmade designs just kept growing and growing.
In 2010 Majken turned dream into reality and founded AlbaBabY. That same year AlbaBabY was on the cover of Spanish Vogue and today AlbaBabY is sold in stores and at webshops worldwide.
